Hanging Rock ATV Club prepping for third annual Rock 'n' Roll Rally
HANGING ROCK, Ohio — Hanging Rock may be best known as a speed trap for motorists, but beyond that well-patroled ribbon of highway, those hills are chock full of miles of great ATV trails that snake through the Wayne National Forest.
This weekend, the Hanging Rock ATV Club hosts its third annual Rock 'N' Roll Rally in the forest with a poker run, Hoot Owl Ride, GPS scavenger hunt, parade, corn hole tournament and much more.
The rally runs Friday-Sunday, May 29-31, at Ohio 52 and Ohio 650, three miles north of Ironton.
A GPS Scavenger Hunt will go on all weekend. A Hoot Owl Ride is planned from 8-11 p.m. Friday. A poker run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. The ride will go into Ironton and will move on to the village of Hanging Rock and Wayne National Forest, then finish in the village of Hanging Rock, with prizes given for the first, second and third places. Another Hoot Owl Ride is planned for 8-11 p.m. Saturday.
A cornhole tournament for riders and non-riders on Sunday.
