Tomblin in Florida for jobs meeting
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin is in Florida for a meeting aimed at finding ways to increase employment in the manufacturing industry.
Tomblin is joining seven other governors and representatives of manufacturers, suppliers and retailers Thursday at the U.S. Manufacturing Summit in Orlando, Fla.
The event is aimed at developing job opportunities and is sponsored by Walmart and the National Retail Federation.
Tomblin will participate in an afternoon panel discussion.
