W.Va. State Police probing woman’s death

BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) — State Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman whose body was found underneath an abandoned vehicle.

State Police said in a statement Wednesday it appears the death of 51-year-old Deborah Dalton of Lanark was drug related. No arrests have been made.

Media outlets report Dalton’s body was found Monday in the Harper Heights area outside of Beckley. An autopsy determined she had been shot.
