Four arrested in Huntington drug raid

HUNTINGTON — Four people were arrested Thursday as police executed a search warrant in the 800 block of 11th Avenue, according to a Huntington Police Department press release and booking records at the Western Regional Jail.

Jail records, first reported early Friday, identified those arrested as Keith Eric Wood, 28; Lindsey Alyn Thacker, 28; Richard Dale Cornwell, 25; and Thomas Lee Day, 37.

The search warrant came in repsonse to neighborhood complaints of drug activity, according to the Police Department's release. Officers found heroin, oxycodone and childern at the scene. State officials took custody of the children.

Wood, 28, was incarcerated at 12:15 a.m. Friday. Jail records indicate authorities charged him with felony child neglect and misdemeanor conspiracy to maintain a common/public nusiance. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Lindsey Alyn Thacker, 28, was incarcerated at 12:15 a.m. Friday. Jail records indicate authorities charged her with felony child neglect and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Richard Dale Cornwell, 25, was incarcerated Thursday evening. Jail records indicate authorities charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Thomas Lee Day, 37, was incarcerated Thursday evening. Jail records indicate authorities charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.

The foursome accoutned for those jailed on felony charges since Thursday evening, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.
