Two jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Two people were jailed on felony charges since Tuesday evening, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.

Christopher Lawrence Smith, 22, was incarcerated Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a single count of third-offense driving on a suspended/revoked license for drunken driving, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Bond was $65,000.

Mindy Catherine Edwards, 35, was incarcerated Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with a felony warrant for failure to appear, along with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and multiple counts of trespassing. Bond was denied.
