Fire damages abandoned home
KENOVA — Crews responded to a fire at an abandoned house early morning Thursday in Kenova.
Wayne County 911 received word of the fire at 2:17 a.m. Thursday. It was located in the 500 block of 19th Street.
Flames from the abandoned house did not spread to neighboring structures, dispatchers said.
No injuries were reported.
The Kenova Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by crews from Ceredo and Boyd County, Ky.
