HAROLD DEAN ADKINS, 78, of Branchland, W.Va., widower of Floy Mae Plumley Adkins, died Feb. 4 at home. He was a retired Maytag repairman at Turley’s Hardware Store. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, W.Va.; burial in Plumley Cemetery, Branchland. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

GLEN ALLEN BELLEW, 77, of Grayson, Ky., husband of Florence Kuntz Bellew, died Feb. 5 at home. He retired from E.B. Lowman. WILLIAM “BILL” ELLIOTT, 61, of Huntington, W.Va., died Feb. 4 in the Huntington VA Medical Center. He was a painter. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, Greenup County, Ky. Burial will follow.
