Songer Whitewater selling complex near Hico
HICO, W.Va. (AP) — Songer Whitewater's former headquarters in Fayette County is going on the auction block.
Goldman Associates Inc. of Charleston will hold the auction March 15. The 100-acre complex along U.S. 19 near Hico includes a 100-site campground, a 7,000-square-foot headquarters building, two bunkhouses, five cabins and a lounge.
Jay Goldman with Goldman Associates tells the Charleston Gazette that Songer no longer needs the property.
Songer joined Lansing-based Adventures on the Gorge in 2011.
A preliminary information packet for the auction says the property's appraised value is more than $1 million.
