Black Sheep brunch keeps brew week bubbling
HUNTINGTON -- Black Sheep Burritos and Brews brought Huntington's Craft Beer festivities to a bubble Sunday with its Beer Brunch dining experience. The first-come, first-served event highlighted regional craft brews paired with the restaurant's brunch menu.
In addition to Black Sheep's regular brunch menu and drink specials, guests could enjoy a flight of West Virginia craft brews for $25 as well as special entrees like Braised Texas Wild Boar Pork Belly Benedict and Gulf Shrimp and Grits.
Mountain State brews on tap Sunday included: Lost River Brewing Company from Wardensville, Big Timber Brewing Company from Elkins and the Charleston Brewing Company from Charleston. Black Sheep operates in partnership with the Charleston Brewing Company, and beer from state capitol is a frequent sight on the Jewel City burrito joint's taps.
Local singer-songwriter Tyler Childers provided music while the restaurant continued to offer tickets to its Wednesday night Craft Brew Dinner.
