KSP begins holiday traffic enforcement
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police troopers will be watching for unsafe drivers during the Thanksgiving holiday.
State police commissioner Rodney Brewer says that will include looking for impaired drivers and making sure everyone in a vehicle is wearing a seat belt.
The holiday enforcement campaign begins Wednesday and lasts through Sunday.
Police say 14 people were killed in traffic crashes in Kentucky last year during the Thanksgiving travel period.
