Cooler temperatures, snow ahead

HUNTINGTON — Temperatures are expected to drop throughout Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expected a 70 percent chance of rain, mainly before 9 a.m. The high will reach 48 degrees.

Temperatures will bottom out overnight at the freezing point of 32 degrees.

Sunny skies are expected Tuesday with a high near 55 degrees. The overnight low falls to 34 degrees with mostly clear skies.

Precipitation returns to the forecast for Wednesday. The high temperature will reach 55 degrees. The chance of rain showers increase from 40 percent Wednesday to 80 percent overnight.

Rain mixes with snow Thursday changing to all snow Friday. Thursday’s high is expected to reaches 45.

Friday’s high temperature reaches 35.
