ROANE COUNTY, W.Va. — A Mason County man accused of shooting and killing his wife was found dead Friday in Roane County, West Virginia, according to West Virginia State Police.
Authorities had been looking for Charles Anderson, 57, since Kathy Jones Anderson, 54, was found dead Wednesday at their home on Backwaters Drive in Letart.
State Police found Charles Anderson at about 12:45 p.m. Friday in a wooded area near Sandy Hollow Road with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
