Six jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Six people were detained on felony charges since Monday morning at the Western Regional Jail, according to booking records.

David Shane Gooch, 28, was incarcerated at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

James Robert Lacy, 31, was incarcerated at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with being a fugitive from justice and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Bond was denied.

Ronald William Davis, 35, was incarcerated at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony wanton endangerment, along with misdemeanor domestic battery and discharging a weapon within 500 feet of a dwelling. Bond was $21,000.

Susan Tiffany Byrd, 28, was incarcerated at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.

Joe Thompson, 61, was incarcerated at 11:20 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with felony malicious wounding. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Jeffery Nicholas Kirk, 32, was incarcerated at 1 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with felony burglary and grand larceny. Bond was $10,000.
