Woman reports 12-year-old daughter missing from school

The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:

MISSING PERSON: A woman reported on Tuesday that her 12-year-old daughter walked out of her school in Huntington at about noon that day and got on a TTA bus. The girl got off of the bus in Culloden. The girl was not supposed to leave the school, and there was no indication she had been in contact with her mother at the time of the report.

BURGLARY: A 60-year-old woman reported someone forced entry into her home in the 1000 block of Madison Avenue by breaking out the glass of a back door Tuesday afternoon. The woman reported $1,150 in firearms were taken from the residence.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Chelsea Leah Barry, 19, was incarcerated at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her as a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Lisa Dawn Mitchell, 36, was incarcerated at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony contempt of court. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

David Michael Scragg, 57, was incarcerated at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with felony sexual assault, third degree. Bond was $25,000 cash only.

Steven Eric Asbury, 36, was incarcerated at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with felony threats of retaliation against a juror. Bond was $20,000.

Tyler McKinney, 19, was incarcerated at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him as a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.

Melissa Dawn Bates, 35, was incarcerated at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with soliciting prostitution, third offense. Bond was denied.

Kathryn Elizabeth Kelly, 31, was incarcerated at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony child endangerment, along with two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence with a minor in the vehicle and single counts of misdemeanor, first-offense driving under the influence and expired/improper registration. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Shane Stephen Holbrook, 24, was incarcerated Tuesday evening. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, along with a misdemeanor drug violation. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Robert Gale Edmonds, 37, was incarcerated Tuesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony receiving/transferring stolen property and conspiracy. He was released the same day on a $20,000 bond.
