WVU dean of libraries prospects to visit campus

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Three candidates for dean of libraries at West Virginia University will be visiting the Morgantown campus starting next week.

The three are Monica Brooks, vice president for online learning at Marshall University; Patrick Dawson, dean of libraries at Northern Illinois University; and Mark Winston, director of the John Cotton Dana Library at Rutgers University, Newark.

Brooks is scheduled to visit May 1-2, Winston May 7-8 and Dawson May 9-10. Each will appear at open forums.

Myrna N. Lowe is interim dean of libraries. She succeeded Frances O’Brien, who retired.
