List of local cooling stations / water stations
Here is a list of cooling stations open for residents without power:
DISPOSAL OF TREE LIMBS/FOOD
The city of Huntington accepting debris, spoiled food and tree limbs from storm from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the City Garage: 419 2nd Ave.
COMFORT STATIONS (provides a temporary break, if needed)
TENTH AVENUE CHURCH OF GOD: 10th Avenue and 23rd Street. Open from 1-8 p.m. Monday. Free movies, snacks and drinks are being provided in an air-conditioned environment. For more information, call 304-522-7160.
COX LANDING UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 5995 Cox Landing Road, Lesage, will be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday.
SOUTH POINT, OHIO, FIRE STATION: 104 Eisenhower St. The cooling station offers drinking water, air conditioning, a place to charge electronics and a place for a shower. The fire department will provide this service from 1-7 p.m. through Wednesday, July 4.
LAVALETTE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: W.Va.152 in Lavalette. Open from noon to 8 p.m. For more information, call 304-523-5931.

BIG SANDY SUPERSTORE ARENA: At the conference center.
PEA RIDGE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 5747 East Pea Ridge Road will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
SHELTERS (a place to stay overnight, if needed)
ONA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT: 2900 Howells Mill Road. (Open around the clock.)
SALVATION ARMY: 1227 12th Ave., Huntington, will be open after 3 p.m. Monday.
WATER TANKERS (individuals need to bring their own containers for water)
HUNTINGTON: For Cabell County customers without water: Kinetic Park Drive off of Hal Greer Boulevard/Troy Brown Highway (adjacent to Bob Evans).
SALT ROCK: Salt Rock Fire Department at 5512 W.Va. 10 in Salt Rock
