Man injured in midnight incident
HUNTINGTON — City police investigated an incident early Wednesday involving an injured and highly intoxicated man, according to an incident report filed by the Huntington Police Department.
The report states officers responded to an incident at 12:03 a.m. in the 600 block of 9th Street.
They arrived on scene to find a wounded, 46-year-old man. He said he had been shot and claimed to already have pulled the bullet from his body.
The man was taken to an area hospital. No immediate arrest was reported.
