Tickets on sale for Belle of Cincinnati fundraiser
HUNTINGTON — Area residents are invited to take a dinner cruise to benefit Hospice of Huntington on Monday, Oct. 5.
For the third consecutive year, Hospice of Huntington will host the Belle of Cincinnati fundraiser at Harris Riverfront Park. The “Lights of Autumn” event is organized with the help of the Friends of Hospice, a volunteer group dedicated to assisting the non-profit agency with various projects. Nearly 500 supporters attended the event last fall.
The event features a 2-1/2-hour cruise on the Ohio River, departing from Harris Riverfront Park in Huntington. The Bob Thompson Unit from Charleston, Live Bait from Tampa, Fla., and The Catalinas from Charlotte, N.C., will perform aboard the multi-deck paddleboat. Huntington’s own 37 Flood band will play during boarding time near the top of the amphitheater area. Boarding time is 6 p.m. on Oct. 5. Sail time is from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Ticket prices are $125 per person for general seating and $150 for reserved seats. Groups of 10 or more receive a free upgrade to reserved seating. Tickets may be purchased online at www.hospiceofhuntington.org or by calling 304-529-4217. Ticket order forms also may be downloaded online. A portion of the donation is tax deductible. All proceeds benefit Hospice of Huntington.
