Cabell 911 preps for food drive
HUNTINGTON — Cabell County 911 will host its annual food drive and hot dog sale next weekend, according to a recent press release.
Emergency dispatchers will be collecting canned and boxed food items, along with monetary donations. They also will sell hot dogs for $1.
All proceeds will support The Salvation Army of the Huntington area.
Those wishing to contribute should visit the 911 center, at 129 Gallaher St., between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11.
Officials will have a drive-thru drop-off point, which allows donors to contribute without leaving their vehicle.
Anyone needing additional information should contact Steve Rutherford at 304-526-6540.
