Man indicted on kidnapping charges
The recent Cabell County Grand Jury has returned the following indictments. The charges were unsealed Friday afternoon. An indictment is merely a formal accusation of guilt, and accused defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
April Blake (1400 block of Marcum Terrace, Huntington): third offense shoplifting.
David Wayne Bolden (2500 block of 9th Avenue, Huntington): two counts of kidnapping, two counts of first degree robbery and conspiracy.
Scott Allen Dial II (6600 block of Mud River Road, Barboursville): threats of terrorist acts and carrying a concealed weapon without a license.
Joshua Greenwood (2900 block of 4th Avenue, Huntington): receiving stolen property, grand larceny, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended or revoked license because of a DUI conviction.
Scott Lee Hale (300 block of W.Va. 2, Prichard): destruction of property, transferring stolen property, conspiracy and shoplifting.
John B. Higginbotham (1300 block of Charleston Avenue, Huntington): two counts of failure to register as a sexual offender, three counts of first degree sexual abuse and obstructing a police officer.
Jermaine Maurice Johnson (2500 block of 9th Avenue, Huntington): two counts of kidnapping, two counts of first degree robbery and conspiracy.
Richard Lee Kirk Jr. (100 block of Township Road 845, Chesapeake, Ohio): two counts of retaliation against a public officer, three counts of obstructing a police officer, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, assault on a police officer and destruction of property.
Kelly Shane Nelson (3400 block of Wire Branch Road, Ona): obtaining goods by false pretenses.
Sherman Reese (200 block of Mason Street, South Point, Ohio): destruction of property, transferring stolen property, conspiracy and shoplifting.
Jeremy Todd Stender (1200 block of Goodwill Road, Huntington): third offense domestic battery.
Matthew J. Wilder III (400 block of West 6th Avenue, Huntington): embezzlement.
