Two men arrested on heroin charges
ASHLAND -- Two men were arrested late Thursday on heroin charges in Boyd County, Ky.
A press release identified those arrested as Nicholas R. Adams, 27, of Ashland, and Ralph Gregory Hackworth, 28, of Worthington, Ky. Both were charged with trafficking heroin, according to the release issued by the Boyd County Sheriff's Office.
The arrests followed an incident in the 2900 block of Central Avenue.
The release states deputies observed a hand-to-hand heroin transaction. They allowed the parties to complete the deal and moved in. The deputies seized undisclosed amounts of heroin and money.
More arrests are a possibility in the ongoing investigation.
