Ky. authorities make meth-related arrests
SOUTH SHORE, Ky. -- Several people were arrested over the weekend on meth charges, according to a news release from the office of Greenup County Sheriff Keith Cooper.
Authorities found meth in a vehicle along Sunshine Lane in South Shore about 8 p.m. Saturday, according to the release.
The Greenup County Drug Interdiction team arrested Dennis Darby Jr., 45, of South Shore, on charges of manufacturing meth, wanton endangerment and possession of heroin.
Co-defendants were Tasmine Hammons, 25, of Sciotoville, Ohio, who was charged with trafficking in meth, and Alvin Branham, 42, of Portsmouth, on a charge of trafficking in meth.
All three were lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
The case is being investigated by Deputies Cody Fuller and Jason Bryant, according to the release.
