Woman, 53, reports being beaten with Maglight, theft of drugs

The following information was provided by the Cabell County Sheriff's Office:

A 53-year-old woman reported Tuesday afternoon that someone took her purse containing $50 in prescription medicine after beating her with a Maglight while yelling, "Where's the dope?" The report states that when police arrived at the victim's home in the 5000 block of Doss Hill Road the victim was covered in blood while holding a towel on a laceration to her head and had several swollen knots about her head. The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Police have a suspect.

BURGLARY: A 50-year-old man reported that someone removed $1,650 in tools and lawn care equipment from a workshop at his mother's residence along McComas Road.

LARCENY: A 59-year-old man reported that someone took $3,000 in cash from a box in his residence in the 3600 block of Trace Creek Road last Sunday. Police have a suspect.

The following information was provided by the Huntington Police Department:

A 46-year-old man reported that someone poured lighter fluid on his feet, set them on fire and urinated on them to extinguish the fire while he was laying unconscious in the 800 block of 8th Avenue Tuesday night. The report stated the man had severe burns to his feet and was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. Police have a suspect.

FRAUDULENT USE OF ACCESS DEVICE: A 59-year-old woman reported that someone took her debit card from her vehicle and used it to spend $1,000 in various businesses in Huntington on Tuesday. The report stated the original debit card theft took place in Ohio, and a police report was filed there.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 77-year-old woman reported that someone tried to break in to her vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Washington Boulevard by forcing the windows down. The car's windows and electric system sustained $3,000 in damages.

LARCENY AND DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: An employee at Clark's Auto Shop reported that someone cut the gas line on a truck parked on the property and took about $100 in fuel from the truck, which sustained between $250 and $500 in damages

LARCENY: A 27-year-old man reported that someone took $550 in wicker furniture from his front porch in the 2500 block of 8th Avenue sometime Tuesday night.

The following information was provided by the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Robert Allen Martin, 41, was incarcerated at 2:25 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with breaking and entering, grand larceny and two counts of burglary. Bond was set at $60,000.

Jerrell Leon Johnson, 47, was incarcerated at 5:45 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent distribute. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Gail Motley, 59, was incarcerated at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent distribute. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Paul Anthony Perry, 47, was incarcerated at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent distribute. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Allen Dwayne Motley, 51, was incarcerated at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent distribute. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Robbie Joseph Dalton, 28, was incarcerated at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with two counts of felony forgery. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

O'Dell Farley, 52, was incarcerated at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent distribute and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Bond was $30,000.
