Grayson resident sentenced to 15 years in prison
CATLETTSBURG, Ky. — Five people received prison sentences ranging from 18 months to 15 years in prison Friday by Boyd County Circuit Judge C. David Hagerman.
Shawn Dewees, 33, of Grayson, Ky., was sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglary, according to the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney David Justice.
Wendell Howard, 47, of Ashland was sentenced to seven years in prison for trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Mary Blake, 33, of Huntington was sentenced to seven years in prison for second-degree robbery.
Davina Wheeler, 43, of Raceland, Ky., was sentenced to five years in prison for criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Tammy Withrow, 51, of Ashland was sentenced to 18 months in prison for driving under the influence, fourth offense, and driving on a suspended license.
Other people sentenced last week include:
James Fields, 26, of Ashland was sentenced in the drug case by Boyd County Circuit Judge George B. Davis III. Fields was sentenced for trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree.
Bradford Cordle, 39, of Catlettsburg, Ky., was sentenced to two years in prison for criminal mischief.
Desirea White, 21, of Greenup, Ky., was sentenced to a year in prison on a probation violation.
