INDICTMENTS: Sept. 2008 Cabell County Grand Jury
The recent Cabell County Grand Jury has returned the following indictments. The charges were unsealed Friday afternoon. An indictment is merely a formal accusation of guilt, and accused defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Lucia Jane Adams (93 Private Drive 3672, Proctorville, Ohio): two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Alma Adkins (P.O. Box 13, Ona): embezzlement.
Teresa Lynn Baker (158 Cedar St., Huntington): murder.
Brandon Thomas Blankenship (1931 Madison Ave., Huntington): malicious wounding, obstructing an officer and two counts battery on a police officer.
Brittani L. Brewer (49 Township Road 1067, South Point, Ohio): welfare fraud.
Nicholas Brown (6373 Country Club Drive, Huntington): embezzlement.
Scott Caruthers (27 Birch Drive, Huntington): 14 counts of sexual abuse by parent, guardian or custodian, 12 counts of first degree sexual abuse, two counts of first degree sexual assault and child abuse resulting in risk or injury.
Howard Ray Childers (5383 Long Branch Road, Huntington): escape from home incarceration.
Harry Elmer Christian (2808 8th Ave., Huntington): third offense driving on a suspended or revoked license because of a DUI conviction, driving under the influence of alcohol and carrying a concealed weapon without a license.
Kimberly J. Conley (3617 Norwood Road, Apt. R, Huntington): welfare fraud.
Larry Alan Cox (621 4th Ave., No. 46, Huntington): two counts of malicious wounding.
Clarence Cremeans (2702 Highlawn Ave., Huntington): two counts of obtaining money, goods or services by false pretenses.
Bobby D. Davis (948 Raccoon Creek Road, Branchland, W.Va.): forgery, uttering and attempted second degree robbery.
Kevin Wayne Driver (803 21st St., Huntington): attempted second degree robbery.
Judy Mae Edwards (404 Prospect St., Huntington): counterfeiting, conspiracy and three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Mark Andrew Edwards (P.O. Box 1223, Barboursville): burglary.
Randall Allen Eplion (804 Marcum Terrace, Huntington): first degree robbery, kidnapping, child neglect creating risk of injury and fleeing from an officer while in a vehicle.
Alexander L. Frieson (HC 82 Box 699, Whitesville, W.Va.): two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and obstructing an officer.
Kyle Michael Gibbs (921 21st St., Huntington): receiving or transferring stolen property.
Kenneth Dale Gibson (2113 Madison Ave., Apt. 4, Huntington): sexual abuse by parent, guardian or custodian and first degree sexual abuse.
Bruce Allen Hargis (205 Adams Ave. Rear, Huntington): two counts of receiving stolen vehicle and obstructing an officer.
Otis Arnold Harris (4540 3rd Ave., Detroit, Mich.): possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Kenny Ray Pinson (5079 Doss Hill Road, Barboursville): third offense driving under the influence of alcohol, third offense driving on a suspended or revoked license because of a DUI conviction and driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous.
David Pitts (310 Marcum Terrace, Huntington): carrying a concealed weapon without a license second offense.
