Festival brings in early celebration
COAL GROVE, Ohio -- Family fun at Paul Porter Park in Coal Grove, Ohio, kicked off a week full of Independence Day celebrations across the region.
Family Fun Days, which filled the park Monday and Tuesday with games, vendors, food and live music, will continue Wednesday with entertainment beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing throughout the evening, a cake and pie auction at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.
The three-day festival is sponsored by the Coal Grove Betterment Club.
