Two charged with prostitution in Ashland
ASHLAND -- Two people were arrested last week on prostitution charges in Ashland, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.
Jamie D. Abrams, 28, of Catlettsburg, Ky., was charged with prostitution, prostitution while infected with a sexually transmitted disease and loitering for prostitution purposes.
Donna M. Sanchez, 28, of Ashland, was charged with prostitution and loitering for prostitution purposes.
Authorities were notified April 24 after receiving reports of prostitution along Winchester Avenue in Ashland. Through investigation and interviews it was determined the two individuals had made arrangements to engage in sexual contact for money, according to the release. Specific details of the investigation are not currently available, according to the release.
The investigation is ongoing.
