Armed robbery reported at Rite Aid
BARBOURSVILLE -- The Cabell County Sheriff's Office was still searching for a man late Thursday night who is wanted in connection with a robbery at Rite Aid earlier in the evening.
The suspect entered the store around 8:30 p.m., brandished a silver handgun, demanded money and then fled the store with an undetermined amount of money, said Sheriff Tom McComas.
McComas said deputies arrived on scene within minutes and saturated the area around the store located at 6401 U.S. 60 in hopes of locating a suspect witnesses described as a white male in his 30s with a scruffy beard, wearing a green plaid shirt and blue jeans.
No one was reported injured.
