Snow leads to school closings and delays; Cabell County closed
HUNTINGTON — Snow is likely today, mainly this morning, and that has lead to some school closings and cancellations.
In West Virginia, Cabell, Lincoln, Wayne and Putnam counties are closed. Mason and Wayne counties are on a two-hour delay today as are private schools, Covenant, Our Lady of Fatima and St. Joseph Elementary are on a two-hour delay. Grace Christian and St. Joseph High School are closed.
In Ohio, Fairland is on a two-hour delay.
In Kentucky, Boyd and Lawrence counties are closed while Rose Hill Christian is on a two-hour delay.
Today’s snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is possible, according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise it will be cloudy and then gradually becoming mostly sunny with a high near 32 degrees.
Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 17.
Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 33. Wednesday night will see increasing clouds with a low around 18.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 25. Thursday night will be mostly clear with a low around 17.
