LAND BANK: For the fourth consecutive year, the Huntington Urban Renewal Authority was one of the big spenders during Cabell County’s tax auction. The agency, which oversees the city of Huntington’s land bank program, purchased tax liens to 85 properties for approximately $92,000 at the annual auction earlier this month.
GUARDSMAN: A Huntington National Guardsman has been selected to head the U.S. Army’s Operational Energy — Contingency Basing Task Force for the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment.
