Light snow on the horizon

HUNTINGTON — A mix of snow and rain are on the horizon, but not until the Tri-State enjoys another day of sunny, dry conditions.

The National Weather Service predicts partly sunny skies for Monday. The high temperature will reach 52 degrees.

Precipitation arrives overnight in the form of rain, before it changes to a mix of rain and snow after 5 a.m. Tuesday. The low temperature dips to 34 degrees.

A 40 percent chance of rain and snow remains until 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Cloudy skies remain afterwards as the high temperature climbs toward 42 degrees.

Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 27.

Sunshine returns for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as daytime temperatures warm from the upper 40s to the low 50s.

Nighttime temperatures will remain in the 20s throughout the week.
