3 CD release parties in Huntington clubs this weekend

There are three CD release parties in Huntington clubs this weekend.

Here’s a look at those release parties:

SHEERED LEPUS: Ravenswood, W.Va.-based band, Sheered Lepus will celebrate the nationwide launch of its debut album, "One Bad Bunny"  being released on Destroy All Records/BCD Music Group at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the V-Club. Locally-based, but internationally-rolling rockers, Hydrogyn will join Sheered Lepus at the V Club show and a Friday night show in Ripley.

HYATARI: Huntington-based experimental metal act, Hyatari summons the troops for a CD release party tonight at Club Echo, 1318 4th Ave., for its sophomore effort, “They Will Surface,” released with the assistance of the Charleston, W.Va., independent record label Caustic Eye Productions.

Hyatari is guitarist Mac Walker and bassist Chris Tackett, formerly of Huntington, artists CHUM (Century Media), and electronic composer/DJ Brett Fuller.

KEVIN ARBOGAST: Kevin Arbogast, singer and guitarist for Luke Jivetalker, releases his solo project, “Soul Singin’ “ at a CD release party set for 10 p.m. today at The V Club, 741 6th Ave., with Hydro opening.
