Tickets on sale for WVa Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
CHARLESTON — Tickets are on sale for the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame’s third induction ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston.
Cross Lanes native Kathy Mattea and Fayette County harmonica wiz Charlie McCoy will co-host the ceremony, which will be taped for later broadcast by West Virginia Public Television.
The musicians to be inducted in the "living" category are: Doc and Chickie Williams, The Bailes Brothers, Larry Combs and Nat Reese.
In the "deceased" category, Don Redman, Hawkshaw Hawkins and Frank DeVol were selected.
General admission tickets are $37.50. Preferred tickets are $250 each and include admittance to the governor’s reception before the event. Tickets are available at Taylor Books, through the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame web site (www.wvmusichalloffame.com) and by calling the Hall of Fame office at 304-342-4412.
