HUNTINGTON — The 29th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Christmas Tree Sale will begin Saturday, Nov. 28.
Trees are freshly cut, shipped from Virginia and Michigan, and include White Pine, Scotch Pine and Fraser fir varieties.
Trees can be purchased from three area lots. In Huntington, trees can be purchased from BB&T at 6th Avenue and 1st Street, and Eastern Heights Shopping Center on U.S. 60 east. In Ashland, trees can be purchased at the Ashland Tennis Center at 13th Street and Oakview Road. The sale will take place weekdays from noon to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
Volunteer teams are also needed to help sell trees for three-hour shifts. Groups, organizations, businesses, friends and families are encouraged to volunteer.
