Mayor's family to offer open house
HUNTINGTON — Huntington Mayor Kim Wolfe and First Lady Deborah Wolfe are opening their home at 1120 13th Ave. for their second annual Holiday Open House from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22.
The Wolfes began the tradition last year and hope to continue it as an annual event throughout his tenure as mayor.
"This is an opportunity for us to welcome everyone in the community into our home and let them know that they are an important part of our Huntington family, and to thank them for allowing us the opportunity to serve in this capacity,” said Deborah Wolfe in a prepared release.
The open house will include family-style entertainment, light refreshments and Santa Claus.
The Wolfes especially encourage the attendance of children, and have invited children from the Huntington City Mission and other children's organizations to attend.
