HAROLD ALLEN BAISE, 42, of Hull, Ga., formerly of Chesapeake, died Wednesday in Hull. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Miller Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
HAZEL MARGARET BURCHETT, 83, of Greenup, died Saturday at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland. She was the owner of Hazel’s Beauty Salon, Greenup. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Greenup First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Brick Union Cemetery, Lloyd. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Reed Funeral Home and one hour prior to service Tuesday at the church.
THOMAS DANIEL, 77, of Blanchester, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, son of the late Ernest J. and Hazel Galloway Daniel, died Friday at Blanchester Care Center. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
JOHN GORDON DYER JR., 27, of Ashland, son of John G. Dyer, and Kim and Fred Harris Jr., died Saturday at Norton Hospital, Louisville. He was a student at Ohio University Southern. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Preston Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. MILDRED CAUDILL GRIFFITH, 77, of St. Paris, Ohio, formerly of Oil Springs, wife of Wade Griffith, died Friday at home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
MARY E. HALLENBECK, 73, of Ashland, died Sunday at Oakmont Manor Nursing Facility. Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.
JAMES EVERETT HELTON, 79, of Lloyd, husband of Susan Wurts Adkins Helton, died Saturday at Hospice Care Center, Ashland. He was a paint and car body repairman for Don Hall Chevrolet. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wright’s Funeral Home, Greenup. Burial will follow at Brick Union Cemetery, Lloyd. Visitation will be 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
WILLIAM “BILL” HILGENBERG, 83, of Coal Grove, widower of Floris Imogene Harrison Hilgenberg, died Saturday at home. He was retired from Dayton Malleable and was a mason. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, Ironton. Burial will follow at Zoar Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ethel Jane Perry Holley, 88, of Milton, widow of Harold Raymond Holley, died Friday in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a retired insurance clerk at Cabell Huntington Hospital. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Milton Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be half-hour prior to service at the church. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
RUTH LAVERNE WILLIAMS JUSTICE, 78, of Ashland, mother of Tim Justice and Terry Justice, died Saturday at Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Preston Family Funeral Home, Ashland. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods. James Drexel Mathis, 49, of Fort Gay, W.Va., passed away Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Antioch Regular Baptist Church on Craig Road, Wayne, W.Va. Burial will follow at the Shy-Gilkerson Cemetery near Prichard, W.Va. He was an electrician for CSX and was a member of the IBEW Local 317 in Huntington, W.Va. TROY LEE PERRY, 75, of Louisa, husband of Frankie Ann Frazier Perry, died Saturday at the VA Medical Center, Huntington. He was a laborer for Louisa carpet mills. Welbern Eugene "Gene" Perry, 75, of Kenova, husband of Delores Mills Perry, died Friday in the Grayson Assisted Living Home. He was a retired inspector with Columbia Gas of Kentucky.
