Weather problems elsewhere delay Huntington, Charleston flights
HUNTINGTON — Inclement weather in Charlotte, N.C., delayed flights Thanksgiving morning linked to Huntington and Charleston, according to U.S. Airways’ Web site.
A scheduled 5:26 a.m. departure from Tri-State Airport was delayed because of fog in Charlotte. The adjusted departure time was 10:35 a.m., more than five hours later.
Similar problems affected early morning flights flying to and from Yeager Airport in Charleston. Those early issues then delayed other flights later in the day.
No other delays were reported at Tri-State Airport.
