HUNTINGTON -- The Tri-State can expect a mix of sun, clouds and rain this week, with temperatures generally heading lower in the last half of the week.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for the week:

Today: Increasing clouds, with a high near 64. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Showers. Low around 42. West wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Monday: A chance of showers, mainly before 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Northwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. West wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 50. Southwest wind between 6 and 8 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32.

Wednesday: Cloudy, with a high near 51.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Thursday: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
