JERRY RAY ALFORD, 60, of Ironton, Ohio, husband of Joyce Rucker Alford, died Monday in Ashland Community Hospice Care Center. He was a retired school bus driver for the Ashland City School System and Ironton Open Door School. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton; burial at Sugar Creek Cemetery. EMMA LOU BOWLING, 72, of Chapmanville, W.Va., widow of Otis Bowling, died Nov. 25 in CAMC. She was a homemaker. HOWARD “Wes” BROWN, 31, of Greenup, Ky., son of Reva Thompson Knipp of Greenup and Rick VanGundy of West Portsmouth, Ohio, died Sunday in Ashland Community Hospice Care Center. MARGARET L. FERGUSON DIAL, 81, of Huntington, W.Va., wife of Carl L. Dial, died Sunday. She worked for Appalachian Power Company.
