Barr's funeral planned for Saturday
HUNTINGTON — Funeral services for former Cabell County school board president Ted Barr are planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Board of Education Central Office auditorium in Huntington.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1p.m.; 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Barr’s family and friends in their time of grief," Flowers said in the release.
Barr died Tuesday after a battle with cancer. He was 81.
Along with his role on the school board, Barr was a former police captain, sheriff and Cabell County commissioner.
