May 13, 2009 @ 07:15 PM

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Fifteen people, including 13 students, were injured when a Jeep ran into a Jefferson County school bus at an intersection.

The Jefferson County school district says the 13 students were taken to area hospitals, as were the driver of the bus and the Jeep.

The Courier-Journal reports that the Wednesday incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. and none of the injuries appeared to be serious.

Rick Caple, director of transportation for Jefferson County schools, says the bus was loaded with 40 students from Brandies Elementary School and Foster Academy.
