Tanker spills vegetable oil in northern Ky.
LUDLOW, Ky. (AP) — Traffic is being redirected after a tanker truck crashed and spilled vegetable oil in Ludlow.
The Kentucky Enquirer reported that the truck was traveling through northern Kentucky on its way to a holding tank Saturday morning.
Officials expect Highway Avenue, also known as Kentucky 8, remain closed for several hours.
Kenton County dispatchers said there were no injuries and the Northern Kentucky Regional HAZMAT Unit was called to the scene.
The truck damaged a parked car and knocked down a utility pole.
