65 people arrested overnight in West Virginia

BARBOURSVILLE — There were 65 people arrested and booked overnight in West Virginia’s Regional Jails.

The South Central Regional Jail booked in 12 people. Locally, in Barboursville, there were six people booked in overnight.

 Two of those people were booked on felony charges.

 James David Leonard, 36, was arrested in Mason County and booked in about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on a felony charge of unlawful assault. As of Sunday morning he had not seen a magistrate. He also had an additional outstanding warrant from Ohio.

 Wendy Jo Jarrell, 48, was arrested in Wayne County about 12:35 a.m. Sunday on a charge of fugitive from justice.
