Gas prices in W.Va. drop nearly 4 cents
CHARLESTON — Gas prices in West Virginia have fallen nearly 4 cents in the past week.
AAA East Central says local prices for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline have reached $3.59, but that’s still 8 cents more than the national average.
The good news for drivers is that West Virginia’s gas prices are 35 cents less a gallon than they were a year ago.
AAA East Central says the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in West Virginia ranged from $3.49 in Bridgeport to $3.61 in Wheeling.
