Two arrested in Ashland meth case
CATLETTSBURG, Ky. — Two people were jailed late Wednesday on charges related to a methamphetamine lab in Ashland, according to a press released issued by the Boyd County Sheriff’s Office.
Buddy W. Turner, 41, and Judith A. Turner, 60, both of Ashland, were charged with manufacturing meth and unlawful possession of meth precursors. Buddy Turner also faces charges of meth possession, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Boyd County Sheriff’s Department Drug Task Force had received information of a possible meth lab at the Turner’s residence in the 1700 block of Nervie Street. They arrived on scene to find a spent meth lab, multiple ingredients and some finished product.
Both were detained at the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, Ky.
The Ashland Police Department assisted in the resulting cleanup.
