ZELLA “MAE” ADKINS CROCKETT,  82, of Lavalette, widow of Newton Crockett Jr., died Thursday. She was a homemaker. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Reger Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home.

LYNN BREE HALE DAVIS, 37, of Ashland, wife of Jeff Davis, died Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. She  attended the nursing program at Ashland Community College and was a homemaker. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Sparks Funeral Home, Grayson. Burial will follow at East Carter Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. www.sparksfh.com.

HAZEL DYE, 94, of Ashland, died Thursday at Hospice Care Center. She was retired from retail sales. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel. TAMMY SUE FITZPATRICK, 47, of Paintsville, widow of Larry Gene Fitzpatrick, died Wednesday at home. She was a homemaker. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin. Burial will follow at Fitzpatrick Cemetery, Johnson County. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

VERMAL H. “J.R.” GALLION, 79, of Grayson, died Thursday at Hospice Care Center, Ashland. He was retired as a rural letter carrier from the United States Postal Service. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wilson Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Cribbs Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Sparks Funeral  Home, Grayson, and after noon Monday at the church. www.sparksfh.com.

NANCY M. HAVENS, 87, formerly of Huntington, died Wednesday at Heartland of Riverview, South Point. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

BETTY RUTH LITTLE, 77, of Hager Hill, widow of Jacob Allen Little, died Thursday at Riverview Nursing Facility. There will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at Little Family Cemetery, Prestonsburg. Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, is in charge of arrangements.

MILDRED MULLINS, 97, of Huntington, formerly of Chapmanville, died Friday at home. Evans Funeral Home, Chapmanville, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.

EUGENE OSBORNE, 67, of Columbus, husband of Zelda Mae Roberts Osborne, died Thursday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Big Blaine United Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Osborne Family Cemetery, Blaine. Visitation will be after 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

JAMES “EARL” PERRY, 86, of Huntington, husband of Eloise Reed Perry, died Wednesday in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. He was a retired rural postal carrier. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. LUCILLE HOGAN PORTER, 81, of Roanoke, Va., formerly of Huntington, widow of Robert Stanley Hogan and L.P. Porter, died Friday at South Roanoke Nursing Home. She was a retired call center representative for AARP. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.

CHARLES VERNON ROOP, 71, of Prestonsburg, father of Billy Joe Adams, died Friday at Highlands Regional  Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Carter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ford Cemetery, Prestonsburg. Visitation will be 4 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

JAMES HUBERT THAXTON, 78, of Barboursville, died Thursday at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. CHARLES WILLIAMS, 58, of Denver, husband of Gina Combs, died Thursday. He was a teacher and coach for Paintsville City Schools. There will be no funeral services. Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, is in charge of arrangements.
