Goldilocks goes on (mock) trial in W.Va.

Mar. 28, 2013 @ 07:12 AM

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Was Goldilocks guilty of bad manners when she entered the three bears’ house uninvited and sampled their porridge, chairs and beds?

That’s the decision that will confront fifth-grade students on Thursday in Charleston when they participate in a mock trial titled “The Three Bears v. Goldilocks.”

The beloved fairy tale will be the basis of the pretend trial before Circuit Judge Carrie Webster. The students are from Overbrook Elementary School.

The trial is based on materials from the American Bar Association.
