Habitat for Humanity dedicates its 82nd house
HUNTINGTON -- Huntington Area WV Habitat for Humanity celebrated its 82nd family housed in Cabell County with a dedication ceremony Friday afternoon at a newly constructed house.
The home, located in the 2500 block of 9th Avenue, will belong to Florida Powell and her family.
Habitat for Humanity partnered with students from the Cabell County Career Technology Center to construct the house, which sped completion of the residence and allowed students to apply the knowledge they acquired in the classroom to the work site.
