Man accused of unlawful assault
HUNTINGTON -- A fight at a restaurant in the 1100 block of 4th Avenue late Friday night ended with one man in the hospital and another charged with a felony count of unlawful assault.
According the criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court, Michael Edward Viglianco, 33, of South Point, struck a man in the face with a closed fist that rendered the victim unconscious.
Viglianco also is accused of striking the victim in the face several more times, possibly breaking his jaw.
He has since been released on $10,000 bond. There was no update on the victim's condition.
Others who were charged with felonies include:
Sharon Kay Shaw, 55, was incarcerated at 2:45 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony counts of operating a meth lab and possessing meth-making materials. Bond was set at $75,000.
April Nicole Adkins, 29, was incarcerated at 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her two felony counts of child neglect. Bond was set at $25,000.
