Man arrested in late night stabbing
HUNTINGTON — City police have arrested a man in connection with a Thursday night stabbing, according to police and jail records.
Bronco Al Borquez, 28, was charged with felony malicious wounding. He was incarcerated at 1:25 a.m. Friday at the Western Regional Jail. Bond was denied pending arraignment, according to jail records.
A Huntington Police Department incident report states Borquez was arrested in connection with a stabbing. It occurred just before 11:22 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of 30th Street, according to the police report and dispatchers at Cabell County 911.
Initial reports indicated a man had received multiple stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital. Dispatchers received no word as to the extent of that person’s injuries, however there was no indication it was life threatening.
